HISS / WHITE NOISE

I have this amp for a almost a year now. There is a big problem with these amps that i read occasionaly about in some guitar forums.

There is an unacceptable amout of hiss / white noise. It's really loud and renders recording with this amp impossible.

From what i read, some have hiss, some don't, but I had 3 of them (yes, 3, I had 2 little jazzes before) and they all have the same problem.

I won't even bother saying the good things about it (they exist, actually) because this issue outshadows them for me. The company should address this problem. This product is not worth it right now. It was a few years ago (some friends have 2, 3 year old amps with no hiss), maybe in the future, I hope.

I got this amp after a friend of mine bought the DV Mark Little Jazz which is a smaller version of the above amp and highly recommended DV Mark amps . The amp itself is unbelievable. The build quality is excellent. It is very light but can deliver 80 watts of power if needed. The controls are very easy to use and the reverb is brilliant. This makes my Ibanez LGB30 sound like a proper jazz guitar. I can highly recommend this amp. For the money it is unbelievable value. Guitarists such as Bireli Lagrene use this amp and I can see why. Absolutely outstanding. If you are looking for a quality jazz guitar amp for your gigs look no further than this amp. You will not be disappointed. I must also thank Thomann who included a UK powercord cable free of charge. Excellent customer service.

Hiss!!!

Great tone but it has a lot of hiss.When I google it there on jazz forums there was comments that it is like a bingo.Some do have hiss some not.Thomann costomers says that thay all have hiss.
Its not big dial.Its beautyfull amp but you cant record becouse of the hiss.For live its ok.
Probably preamp gain problems.
also be sure to have solid power becouse on higer volume there is lot of noise.
reverb is one of the best but when you push it little more it has hiss too hahaha.

A wonderful practical jazz guitar amplifier

An excellent amplifier for guitar. Very cleverly packed into one box. Design is fantastic. Very easy to carry on the plays. Equipped with an excellent 12 "speaker, very easy to control, the Reverb works fantastic, behind the amplifier, equipped with all the necessary switches, inputs, and outputs, good for turning off the internal speaker and plugging in the headphones, and it can also be very loud extraordinary clean jazz guitar tone.
