After a month and a half of heavy use, the sound is still rich in details, not muffled at all, and I deliberatelly didn't use any cleaning liquid or similar, just wiped them lightly with a cotton cloth after use.
I used mostly plectrum on them, to see how sustainable the K3 coating is under much stress. There are no visible scratches in the coating, which was not the case with neon orange coating, which seems to be a bit more wearable.
The feeling under fingers is great, you have a firm grimp and thus total control at all times.
We had two gigs under extreme cold weather, temperatures were at 7 degrees Centigrade below zero, open stage. Tuning went up a little bit before the start, but after about 5 minutes of constant use, it normalized and stayed tuned during the whole gig.
There is a minus point, though. Under blacklight, the strings are not fluorescent, as it is the case with neon orange which I used before. So, if you need to make a visual impact also, I'd recommend using the coloured ones.
But if only the sound is the factor, then it's definitely the Whites!
This are my third DR strings set, and they don't break under torture. (After stating this, I'm probably gonna have a string breakage on our next gig ... ;) )
