Quality from the first tone.

Dean Markley Blue Steel and I go back to the eighties. That alone should tell you this is quality strings. They are cheaper now than back then, witch is a big positive. These strings is sturdy and last so much longer than anything else I have tried. I very seldom have a string break. And I love the sound off them. Well they fit for me, but we all have different style of playing, so they might not fit everyone. But for me, I'm in for Blue Steel for life.

Don't do it to you and your guitar

So, I found somewhere that this strings are good for acoustic blues. Maybe, if you wanna sound as original, great depression delta blueser who wasn't able to choose...

I put it on Fender CC60 and it started to make problems immediatelly. It was immposible to tune, so I needed to set up neck.

A the end, I did it. You know what? They are hard, uncomfortable, 1-2 string is cutting fingers and I all the time have a feeling that strings will be broken.

Anyway, maybe they are not comfortable and easy to install, but you need to tune it every few minutes, even few days latter.

And sound... Oh my Gosh!
Poor sound as you play child guitar.

Guitar strings.

I need "steel strings" for my Baggs magnetic acoustic pickup equiped guitar.

So far, these are the answer. Bronze/steel are not as magnetic as pure steel, so I like these for the strong amplified sound I get from my acoustic guitar/combo amp.

Thomann "do them" for less than 1/2 the price of any quality guitar string sets I have seen in my local music shops, so ?10 mailing for 3 or 4 sets is a big saving all round.
