Delightful Helicores

Got the Helicore for my inexpensive plywood bass, immediately improved the sound beyond recognition, lovely tone and excellent projection, made what was a much maligned instrument (by myself) a far more enjoyable instrument to play, mainly used for bluegrass/americana, highly recommend. Only sorry I didn't invest in them two years ago when I got the bass originally.

Sehr guter Klang für Sinfonieorchester

Ich bin Berufsmusiker im Opernorchester und bestelle regelmäßig neue Saiten für mein Dienstinstrument. Gegenüber anderen Herstellern hat sich Helicore einfach klanglich durchgesetzt. Zu Beginn klingen alle neuen Saiten etwas blechern, das geht bei D'Addario aber recht schnell vorüber (viel laut spielen hilft...!).

Excellent rapport qualité prix

Tout est dans le prix.
Comme toutes les hélicore elles sont très fines, ce qui est quand même plutôt agréable, mais ça n'engage que moi..
Le son est assez clair, mais moins que les spirocore par exemple. Pour quelques choses de plus sombre, il faut aller vers les helicore destinées au jeu arco.
Le sustain en pizz est correct, pas trop ronflant à mon goût juste ce qu'il faut.
La durée de vie est excellente pour des cordes métalliques.
En fait je trouve ce produit réussi car il porte bien son nom. Ces cordes sont "hybrid".
Sans être exceptionnelles, ces cordes sonnent en pizz et à l'archet, et vu le prix c'est carrément un choix que je recommande.
