Great strings

Aquila pretty much wrote the book on ukulele strings. They feel great, they sound great, they last a good long while and once they have settled into tune, they will stay there. They will make even the cheapest uke sound as good as it ever will, and on a top end instrument they will really let the instrument sing.

The six string set comes with an extra high C and a low A, which in this instance is a wound string rather than the new Aquila red string. The wound string gives you a really nice, strident bass note to add a bit of depth to your sound, while the high C adds a bit of 'sparkle' at the top.

All in all, really great strings, wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Probleme mit der dicken A Saite

Die Saiten Code 17U sind bis auf diese ROTE A sehr gut.
Auf meiner 6-saitigen Lanikai Ukulele habe ich immer wieder Probleme mit dem Reißen dieser Saite , auch im Ruhezustand gehabt. Ich habe mir die umwickelte Saite Code 136 U einzeln bestellt und auf A gestimmt. Die Saite funktioniert wie sie soll auch der Durchmesser passt besser zu der A Saite aus dem Satz17U

Die Low A Saite (Aquila red) ist gerissen

Die Low A Saite besteht aus Aquila red. Diese waren bei der Produkteinführung in den ersten Chargen nicht stabil und sind oft gerissen. So auch diese Low A Saite dieses Sets. Mit den aktuellen Sets (Low G CEA) hatte ich keine Probleme.
