Perfect beater for my purpose
I bought this as a replacement beater head for my Tama Speedcobra. The beater head that was supplied with it was too hard for my taste.
With this beater head attached my kick drum just sounds the way I want it.
It's a very easy replacement. Angle can be adjusted, ... It packs more features than I would ever have expected this kind of product could have or need!

Simple replacement for worn-out Iron Cobra beater heads.
I bought a pair of these beater heads to replace the worn-out original beater heads that came with my Iron Cobras. (I had played almost 100 gigs with them, as well as hundreds of hours of rehearsals, so I have nothing bad to say about their longevity!)
Fitting them is very straightforward, requiring only a drum key. Loosen the single bolt, turn the head through 180 degrees (so the felt side faces the back) and lift off. Pop the new one on (also upside down and backwards), rotate until it faces the front, and tighten the bolt. It takes seconds.
Note that this package does not include the shafts - this item is the beater *head* only. So it's only suitable as a replacement if you already have Iron Cobra beaters with the cylindrical T-bar at the top. If you're replacing a different model of beater, then the item you need is the CB90F, which includes the shaft.

The felt does ware away
This is a great beater head, and is the beater head of my choice, as it feels great to play with, gives a good response from my pedal and a nice sound from the bass drum. I have never had any trouble with the connection of this beater head, it fits to my iron cobra pedal as it should and has never fallen out of place.
The only trouble i have found with this beater head, is only to be expected, but I am now finding myself having to replace the head only after a short amount of time, as the felt wares away sometimes leaving sharp bits of glue that then can damage the bass drum head, if it is not changed in time.

Best replacement
Great beater, original cobra sound, construction and feel. Less durable than the rubber version but sounds more balanced to my ears

very disappointing durability
Good enough feel but doesn’t last.
It gets worn out far too quickly. Not to expect from a product of this brand and in this price range. Disappointing.
