Werkt goed. Dacht dat dit een andere sound aan mijn amp zou geven, maar heeft alleen een beetje invloed op het volume. Met de juiste buis begint een versterker eerder of later te oversturen wanneer je het volume omhoog draait.

It sounds identical to the ecc83 CZ. It gives some serious weight to your sound, but depending on the amp, it may bring mudness. The more driven it gets, it sounds better, and i'd recommended this tube only for high gain applications on the second or third stages. Surely not intended as a phase inverter. It operates quietly and free of trouble. Unless you wanna be sure about it's accurate operation, there is no need to spend the extra money vs the ecc83 CZ. Again, i've compared both of them and they work identical.

This is the second time I've purchased this valve. I find it great for first stage, specially for "british" amps (orange in my case) but also marshall, vox... not as full or deep as RT010, but with a more complex mid response due to it's tighter low end. Haven't tried it as second stage (normally eq), but I assume it should be great as well. Basically, campared to RT010, tighter low end, great for rock, blues... if it's metal you're after perhaps the other one woud do the trick better for you

Upgrade for a standard ECC83/12AX7

The TAD HG7025 is a high quality selected tube which can replace any ECC83/12AX7 type.
I put mine at V1 in my Orange AD200B, replacing the stock Orange 12AX7 (it was unlabelled, I read somewhere that they might equip their amps with Sovtek tubes).
This tube goes well with this amp, producing more clarity and a more even frequency response than the stock one. Also, EQ function is enhanced.
