Absolute top amp distortion!

Ik was nog op zoek naar een goede amp distortion voor m'n rig. Ik ken Suhr als merk niet zo goed, dus ik heb deze unit meer op gevoel uitgezocht dan op voorkennis.

Hij klinkt echt geweldig. Van lagere blues-y distortion niveaus, tot harde rock kan dit pedaaltje makkelijk aan. Gecombineerd met een goeie tube screamer krijg je d'r ook nog eens mooie metal tonen uit.

Het enige minpuntje wat ik kan vinden is dat de FX-Link schakelaar op de achterkant van het pedaal wat goedkoop lijkt. Het voelt nogal fragiel aan.

Voor de rest, is dit een geweldig distortion pedaal. Zeker het geld waard!

This is a distortion pedal that is meant to be used on a clean fender amp. I use it with a slightly broken up amp, right on the edge of break up. It can give u all kinds of distortion. It goes from light crunch to fullbore metal. It has more gain than you'll ever need! The features are simple yet innovative. It utilizes a 9v power supply (not included) and right next to it you'll find the fx link feature. It can be used to program your Riot or engage it from a distance with a 1/8 to 1/4 mono jack and a latching footswitch. The sound is superb. It has a very amp-like feel to it. And the quality? Don't even mention it. It's as solid as they can make them. Plus the magenta is a beauty on the eye. However, al these good things said, it has one dirty side. It doesn't get along with some amps. I think the rule is as following: how cleaner the amp, the more it will roar with the Riot. But in the end, you'll have to test this with your amp! Mine's a keeper!

I have heard about this pedal and watched videos of it years ago, and almost immediately I knew i'd want one. It gives a great range of distorted sounds and they're just astonishing - big, fat distortion for lead stuff or screamy, crunchier stuff for your rhythm parts - just great ! The three typec of voicing are also very good as they give you more variety in finding your sound. Otherwise, the pedal is well made, been using it very often at gigs, combining it with my vox AC-30 and it just gives an incredible sound.

The best pedal I have owned

I have been waiting to get my hands on one of these for a very long time. It just has so many sounds and is built very well. It is a nice size as well. The riot can be used for nearly any rock song but it works best when there is a lot of gain needed. It has some crazy sounds in it and would work well for any rock guitarist. Outstanding pedal and worth every penny. I bought the clones of this and they were ok but nothing near the original! I also have the sheeba drive which is a lot more reserved and mellow than this. The two aren't very a like and if you are looking for some great sounds than this is the pedal for you!
