Very good strings for a very low price

I´m a professional guitarplayer and I love to play Gypsy Jazz. I´ve put these on my Altamira MD GJ guitar and they sound amazingly good. Bright sound with good mid lows en highs. Not better or worse than the Argentines. They are pretty good as well but twice the price. I think I´m going to use the Pyramids for now.

Ik wist niet hoe slecht deze snaren waren totdat ik een ander merk uitprobeerde.

Gypsy Jazz tone on a budget

I've used Savarez Argentines, the D'Addario GJ strings and these.

The Pyramid strings sound very good. Not quite as 'throaty' as Argentines, but still fairly good. Much better than D'Addario. Because they are also much cheaper, these are now my go-to GJ strings.

One thing I've noticed is that they tend to wear out much quicker than electric guitar or bass strings. However, this also occurs with other brands of Gypsy Jazz string. Also you can get 3 packs of these for the price of 1 set of Argentines, so it's not an issue.

In summary: Great strings, I will be buying more.

Nice strings for archtop

Good sound but unfortunately the G string failed intonation with my bridge, replaced with .18 plain string, not optimal but in tune.
