Nice little splash with a pleasant sound

Decided to buy this Meinl 08" HCS Splash because I had some extra bucks after doing my main Thomann order. Wasn't sure about the sound or quality due to it's low price (cheapest available on the time of purchase), but decided to go with it since it was my first effect cymbal to purchase. And the splash proved to be very good!
It provides high vibrant sound and does the great job of giving the clear and bright accent where needed, so it came as a great addition to my standard drumset. I was reluctant at first, but now I tend to use it more and more with each new song we're doing with the band (other band members loved it as well).

Not bad for the price

I'm not a drummer but I needed a splash so I got this cheap one.. I'm not super happy with the sound and feel but It does the job... I wasn't expecting much anyway for this price. Feels a bit "heavy", I would have preferred a bit softer or thiner maybe, but again, maybe that's too much to ask at this price point and I'm a not a drummer so this is just my humble opinion.

It was not what I expected

This cymbal is a bit weak. If you hit it strong it will bend. It has a reasonable sound, though. Very cheap, so truth is you can't expect more.

Good for fills

If you want to use it in fills, it does the job. But if you want to use it more as a headline, it's quality will not be sufficient.
