Can't go wrong for the price

As a guitar player that has been playing for a few years, it was time for my second guitar. I really wanted a stratocaster after rocking on an Ibanez for quite some years, but the price of brand new Squiers and Fenders was putting me a little off. Luckily there was the Harley Benton strat, and boy did it surprise me.

Upon receiving the guitar and opening the package, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the guitar is. The neck was as smooth as can be, there was no dent to be found, and it was looking like a brand new Fender strat; which was also how it sounded when I first plugged it in. Running straight into my tube amplifier, the pickups in this guitar sounded crisp and clear, with a balanced bottom end.

After a few hours of playing my day couldn't have been better. I had found a great guitar for a great price that'd certainly provide me with lots of fun. There are a few cons, which I will discuss now:

Con's
- The bridge tremelo is 1 giant detuner, coupled with the stock tuners. You could replace the stock tuners and have a solid tremelo experience.
- Grounding. Luckily the guitar's electrical components are grounded, but there is a certain hum that dissappears upon touching any metal object on the guitar. It'

Kleur valt tegen

De kwaliteiten van deze gitaar werden al genoeg beschreven en ik kan ze alleen maar bijtreden. De enige opmerking die ik heb is dat de kleur nogal “geel” uitvalt, en dus niet echt “vintage white”…

Hype is real!

Many years I thought that these guitars could not be good for the price. I was wrong. It looks, plays and sounds fantastic right out of the box! I only had to lower the pickups a bit, but that's nothing. I prefer this guitar over my 1000,- Fender strat. It's that good.
