Echt een fijne microfoonstandaard.

Goede stabiele standaard die heel weinig ruimte inneemt op de vloer. De hoogte verstelling gaat middels het in knijpen van een knop. Dit is wel een mooi systeem maar als je de standaard verplaatst dan merk je dat hij verder uitschuift. Het conventionele schroefsysteem is dan sterker, maar verder een prima stand. Het geheel ziet er ook nog eens erg mooi uit. Verder ben ik heel tevreden over de service van Thomann, die alle leveringen goed verzorgt, en bij problemen of retourneren zeer snel reageert.

doesn't tip easily. height adjustment is quite stiff, but that prevents it from being accidentally adjusted mid show. the adjustment grip is at the very top of the pole, and the top of the pole is quite wide because of that which led to a few complications in my setup, but that was easily fixed by a few extra inches of pole.

Na 1,5 jaar al kapot

Na 1,5 jaar was het one-hand systeem al kapot en zakte het statief steeds uit zichzelf naar beneden.
Eenmaal uit elkaar gehaald, bleek dat de plastic ring was gebroken. Slechte kwaliteit gebruikt dus.
Ik heb nu een K&M gekocht.
Die is stukken beter.

Great for the price with a couple of quirks

I'll try and keep this short.

Pros:
— Easy assembly and handling
— Stand has a good bit of weight to it, feels sturdy and secure
— A minimal design, no-nonsense straight to the point mic stand

Cons:
— Handbrake button is quite hard to press, I didn't expect the mechanism to be so tight. Would be nice to have some sort of feedback from it, like a click when it's pressed.
— Ironically, the upper tube slid down with just a little bit of pressure, so I had to disassemble the stand and tighten the hex nut on the bottom of it.
— This, in turn, revealed some shoddy glue work in that spot, but hopefully I can forget about it forever seeing as stand works as intended after tightening.

Overall it's easy to recommend this stand even considering the cons I've listed for the price and convenience of having a handbrake mechanism alone. It's not going to blow your mind, but it'll do the job 99% of the time.
