Good vintage look

These knobs were used to replace the knurled cylindrical metal ones on my Squier Jazz bass.
Excellent fit and a superb optical improvement!
As always you pay a bit more for original Fender stuff but so far it always fits & works.

These knobs are the ones like the original. Never be fooled finding a cheaper price elsewhere because I made the mistake to buy such knobs overseas and had to wait for ages. When those arrive I had smaller knobs like mostly seen on pedals.

The Fender jazz knobs are solid and have nice round edges. These look great on a Fender Dimension Bass. I am glad Thomann have these in stock.

Weird allen screw dimensions

The fixing bolts on these knobs have strange dimensions. 1.5mm allen key is too loose and 2mm allen key does not fit. Also, they were stuck, I managed to get two out using a 1.8mm screwdriver, but not the third. I'm returning this item.

Could be mine is faulty, the quality of the knobs seems pretty good otherwise.

Pimping a Squier Jazz bass

I bought a Fender Squier Vintage Modified Jazz bass V NT and I was (and still are) very happy with this instrument.

The only thing disturbing me were the poti knobs. Squier used knurled metal caps which are not looking really stylish. I wanted to have the optic of the Fender Jazz basses and found those replacement parts.

The bass is looking much better now and the knobs can be fixed very easy on the poti axle. Never had to touch the screws again. One more advanted: The white marks make the poti settings better visible as before with the metal knaobs.
