Doepfer case

Degelijke case waarin de modules perfect passen. Alles voelt stevig aan en de uitstekende rand is handig om bijvoorbeeld een klemlamp te bevestigen voor als je gaat optreden en in het donker de modules goed wilt zien. Patchkabels kan je in modules laten zitten als je de kast wil afsluiten (tenminste als de stekkers er niet al te veel uitsteken). Ik denk dat ik op termijn wel voor een grotere kast ga. Het is echt een eye-catcher voor in je studio en het oog wil ook wat😁.
Snelle levering, al zou ik Thomann wel willen adviseren het te verpakken in een degelijkere doos. Het is nu al al een paar keer voorgevallen, dat de doos halfopen/ingedeukt/gescheurd binnenkwam. Tot nu toe heeft dat gelukkig nog niet tot beschadiging van het product zelf, of nog erger, het ontbreken van spullen geleid maar dat zou zomaar een keer kunnen gebeuren.

Wonderful, sturdy case

Purchased this case because my Moog 60hp skiff was quickly becoming too small for everything I wanted to get.

Great, solidly built case with lots of space. Supplies clean power and plugs in directly to the wall socket so you don't need to carry around a bulky adapter when you're performing. The downside of an internal power supply is that it adds to the weight of the case, but I don't mind that at all.

It feels like a premium case and the rails are perfectly built.

One downside is you can't place this case at an angle because the power cable plugs in from the back and sticks out a little bit. It would be nice if it was placed higher up, or somewhere on the side.

All in all, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and recommend this case to anyone looking to build a road worthy, reliable eurorack.

Love this case

Bought this case to compliment my other cases with a view to playing out live with a favourite selection of modules in a 9u case. Really great, and handles the power well. I have managed to close the lid with cables attached (normal doepfer ones), but bought some 90 degree angled ones and will test them as not much room with standard cables once you put the lid on and wouldn't want to damage anything. Quality control on my case a little hit and miss, or maybe got damaged in transit. The top rail is a bit off (leaving a couple of slight gaps in between modules on the right hand side) despite the screws being lined up. Wonder if there might be a slight warp in the case or bend in the rack rail.

Other than that no problems and love it. My fourth case now in my ever expanding modular set up!! (1 x 9u, 1 x 6u, 1 x 3u and this, x 9u). Better stop to keep the bank manager happy!

Oldie but a goodie

Holds up well against the newer euro cases, PSU3 solves the issue of the older versions not having quite enough power available or no 5V from the PSU2. Cost per HP is good vs the typical 2x104 cases that cost more than this one, its nice quality and built to take a beating, not that I would recommend that! I suppose the only issue for some would be that its fairly heavy compared to the smaller, lighter aluminium ones. For me personally its not an issue, I can lift them easily enough and they dont get moved much anyway, instead of one large immobile case I opted to get a few of these so the rack can be packed up away from dust and moved around easily if required. Solid choice all around and due to the square size and stackable design I can add or subtract cases as required.
