Flats, yeag doubted for many years decided to try a set from my Jazzbass. that one was way to bright for my taste, so lets dim it down a bit with flats. but not to much.
So chromes, cos those should have a bit of high end int hem. well they do.
They sound like played in rounds, but yeah flats feel completely smooth, very nice. Put em on my vintage P bass as well now, cos, well vintage and these sound perfect for that. Nice thump too.
Good strings, still considering to put them on my stingray, but im not sure if I prefer them over rounds, my fingers will, my ears might not.
Anyway, good strings, not as dark as most I guess, dont know since these are my first flats. but you cant go wroing, pricewise they are attractieve as flats cost more, figures cos they are more difficult to make and last ages.
