i bought this kit to do setups on my bass. This key set has all the necessary tools to set up strings height as well as intonation on every bass and probably most of the guitars. It's made from durable material. Cruztool GTMLT1 is very light and small - will fit in any pocket. I think everybody should have this toolkit in their gigbag!
Helaas is er een fout opgetreden, probeert u het a.u.b. later nogmaals.
The Swiss Army knife for guitars
No, it's not perfect. I'd like to see a folding wire cutter on it for trimming strings when replacing strings, but that's neither here nor there. For what it can do, it does it well, all at a price that's more than reasonable. It won't replace dedicated tools entirely for those of us that do a lot of work on guitars and basses, but for the hobbyist that owns only one or two guitars, it should be all they ever need. My personal collection is six electrics and two acoustics, and one bass, so my personal collection gives it a workout from time to time. So far, it's been great. When I work on client's instruments, it's often all I need to have handy on site. This tool is handy for many things. No, it's not always as good as a dedicated tool, no folding tool could be. It will do many things in repairing and setting up almost any guitar or bass, and do it well enough. It's small, easy to carry, and ready at a moment's notice. The tool ends are of high quality steel, and the suround is heavy aluminum. It shouldn't rust or wear out for a very long time. I've used it to set actions, straighten necks by using the truss rod, and adjust the bridges. Works fine, and beats having to tote a tool box around. I did run across one off brand of tremolo saddle it would not adjust, but for the most part, it's ready for anything. High grade stainless steel for the tool ends, and a heavy gauge aluminum body mean it's of great quality and should last nearly forever. Maybe you can damage it, but you'll have to be doing something it wasn't meant to do. When you consider the number of tools it allows you to do without, it's more than worth the reasonable price. I've spent more than that for a single tool that wasn't of this quality. I priced the same tool at other sites, Thomann has the best price, even better when you consider they toss in the shipping, which the other sites don't.
