Good but...

The D-vice is working on most rims, but not all of them.
The main drawback of the system is that it only allows light and compact mics such as the D2 or D4. I dont think you can put something bigger than an i5, defenitely not a 421.
Second point which isn't best: sometimes the mic will start to rotate off the clamp due to the vibration of the percussion it's on.

handige voor allerlei merken micro's

Erg handig om allerlei merken microfoons te bevestigen rond het drumstel.

Zelf gebruik ik het ook voor EV, audix en sennheiser mics en dat werkt prima!

It is a useful clip.....a sound engineer tip...If you have trouble getting a clip short enough for snare if the drummer has very low mounted toms close to the snare...then turn this clip bracket upside down and attach the clip to the bottom of the snare rim...then you can get the snre mic really low on the snare drum atr the top

Audix Mic Clamp - Good.... but

I bought this clamp at the same time as an Audix i5 Mic
It fits onto the snare really well with an ?expanding vice clip? (with flexible gooseneck) holding the unit in place very well. However, the one issue I have with this clamp is the gooseneck system: What it doesn?t seem to allow for is placing a mic in a position other than having the mic well into the snare head.
I still use it on the snare - when that?s where I want the mic.... but most of the time I use it on a floor tom - when I want the mic well above the drum.
