Great sounding Reverb with lots of possibilities.
I needed a MIDI reverb so this choice. This unit is quite compact, with good connectivity options, and built like a tank. The choice and quality of the reverbs is top notch. I only needed good Hall, Plate, and Spring reverb programs, but this one comes with much more possibilities - most of them I will not use, but that you may like for creating complex sounds. The interface is good but not totally straight forward to use at first (same for the Nyxie software interface is not the most user friendly) Compared to the Big Sky , the Big Sky MX brings the possibility to chain 2 reverb which is very interesting (for example , I like to set a magneto reverb, which is close to a delay, into a hall reverb ). If you need a reverb pedal that can do almost everything, this is the one.

Strymon redonne vie à mes claviers !
J'utilise la big Sky MX principalement sur mon clavier Osmose pour une profondeur de son incomparable. La big Sky a également redonné vie à mes anciens synthés, JV1080 et DX7, en sublimant et magnifiant les sons d'origine. Enfin, je l'utilise aussi via ableton pour mes mix avec le plugin de retour d'effet intégré. Enchanté par la qualité du son et la qualité de fabrication, je lorgne désormais sur un delay Strymon, style El Capistan pour compléter au mieux ce bijou Big Sky MX.
