Versatlie trumpet in B flat and C

Perfect for what I needed, good response - everything you have come to expect from a yamaha. I am not a professional but I have been playing and conducting for 30 years. It is easy to swap between the B flat slides and the C slides but not quick enough to do it between pieces. The sound is the one disappointing area as it is a bit tinny. I may be being picky but it is not a rounded smooth sound (like my cornet), I expected harsh but a bit less tinny. Overall I am very pleased with my first trumpet and just need get to used to playing in C as my ear is telling me it sounds wrong!

Cette Trompette est ma première trompette en Ut. Je pense que c'est très bien pour commencer, même si elle peut être parfois un peu fausse. Le vernis est parfait voire trop parfait, comme toujours chez Yamaha.

Vor 46(!) Jahren habe ich meine erste C-Trompete von Yamaha gekauft. In dieser Zeit wurde zweimal das Mundrohr ausgetauscht, zweimal komplett überholt und einmal neu versilbert. Jetzt war es wieder soweit: Ich wollte etwas neues, und es sollte wieder eine Yamaha werden. Da mir die Yeno-Reihe doch etwas zu teuer war, entschied ich mich für dieses Modell. Eigentlich ist es eine C/B Trompete, bei mir wird sie aber auschliesslich als C-Trompete genutzt. Der Klang ist sehr weich aber voll, sie spricht gut an und hat sowhol in der Tiefe als auch in der Höhe ein sehr gutes Klangbild und Volumen.
Alles in allem eine gute Wahl für mich.
