Ciao.

Ho acquistato questo cavo TS/TS per connettere principalmente l'Out di un Moog Little Phatty Stage II ad una Motu 828 MKIII Hybrid.

Il cavo è di buona fattura, molto bello esteticamente. La forma ondulata è dovuta al tipo di cavo rigido usato e all'intreccio effettuato dalla Vovox per limitare i disturbi. I connettori sono perfetti e non ho avuto nessun problema durante l'inserimento dei jack da 6.3 mm.
Al tatto, il cavo resta più rigido del cavo che usavo prima ed ho preferito posarlo con curve molto dolci, ma si presta senza problemi a pieghe più strette.

Mi sono convinto ad acquistarlo dopo aver letto le specifiche tecniche sul sito ufficiale della Vovox.

Con il precedente cavo, un generico TS/TS economico, lasciavo il TRIM dell'ingresso sulla scheda audio (dal CueFX Motu) settato su +13, mentre ora lo tengo su 0, mantenendo un buon feedback nei volumi d'ingresso della porta usata dal Little Phatty.

Userò il cavo in posa fissa in studio.

Il cavo è di ottima fattura però su situazioni live la differenza con cavo meno pregiato viene quasi totalmente annullata dal rumore generale dell'ambiente.

Vovox-A very able cable

If you have the extra cash, then go no further.
I'm using the cable with a nylon sting acoustic that's fitted with an LR Baggs Anthem pickup system, into Blackstar Sonnet 120 amp.
The end result is a bright,warm tone that not only reflects but enhances the natural tone of my guitar.

PROS: A sturdy well built cable with unbelievable sound quality.
CONS: Expensive? Yes. But worth saving for!!

Why spend good money on replacing cable after cable, when you can buy one incredible cable that comes with a lifetime guarantee?

This is so high quality and solid cable, when you touch it you can be sure you can rely on its sound quality!

I did not do any A/B tests but I can feel how my analogue synths became to shine in high-mids and how bass low end turned to be tight and punchy. Overall the sound is more open, in your face which makes it easier to take decisions during tracking and overdubbing.

For sure you can publish a record with much cheaper wires, but these will improve the quality of your music by let's say 5% and what is more important will help you hear better the source and will make it easier to take some freq wise decisions on eq, or compression, etc.

I always dream of having all vovox cables in my system, so that I can blame only myself if music sucks :)
