Definately a worthwhile purchase if you intend to position powered speakers upto 20m from your mixer. The cable winder is of light, but adequate quality. The only think i wish for, to have the split end (the part that connects to your mixer output and the remote power) should be probably 1m longer. The combined/overall thickness of the snake cable doesnt sit comfortably in the back of the mixer for my liking since it?s naturally heavy duty. Otherwise, works perfect.

Leider hat die Trommel genau die vertauschen Stromanschlüsse, um die Trommel unter dem Tisch stehend und mit kurzen Leitungen am DMX-Controller und Stromversorgung zu betreiben. Es gibt diese Trommel auch in einer anderen variante, welche eigentlich nicht für DMX Anwendungen gedacht ist, die in dieser Konstellation auch nur mit Adaptern benutzt werden kann.

Die Idee, solch eine Trommel anzubieten, ist klasse! Es wäre nur schön, sie auch mit anderer Steckerkombination erhalten zu können :-)

Eigentlich ist das Kabel ja für DMX ( also Lichtsteuerung) ausgelegt. Ich nutze es aber zur Ansteuerung meiner Aktiv-Boxen (MAUI 5). Und läuft prima! So habe ich 230V und Musiksignal gleich vor Ort an der Box.
Die Kabeltrommel ist für 20m Kabellänge etwas knapp bemessen, aber ausreichend.
Verarbeitung ist akzeptabel, jedoch nichts für "Grobmotoriker".
Fazit: Nicht perfekt. Aber gut genug um mir noch eine zweite zu bestellen.
Die sssnake PNT 20 DMX macht ihren Job und stellt eine gute Problemlösung der nervigen Kabellängen- und Kabelsalat-Probleme dar.
