Free Severn Sound recommends this guitar very highly

We are using the guitar for live performance and recording sessions with our Bristol/Cardiff based music collective, Free Severn Sound.

The unamplified sound is warm, balanced, clear and full, and very suited to our style of playing. The built in pickup, preamp and controls also provide a good output for the instrument when amplified.

The appearance of the instrument is aesthetically pleasing, and the construction materials, build quality and finish are all excellent.

The guitar has been strung and set up to a professional standard, and is very comfortable to play.

The guitar hold its tuning very well.

The guitar is supplied with a high quality hard case, with sufficient internal padding to protect the instrument against collisions with other solid objects when in transit.

Smooth sound, fragile body, modest quality control

The guitar has a very smooth and pleasant sound.
Its body is very fragile and needs to be handled very carefully.
Quality control seems to be rather modest for a guitar in this price range. Mine came with poorly applied, half dried glue under the inside label, and heavily smelling like wood glue.

International shipping is risky with fragile instruments like this one.
First one arrived cracked, despite the packaging showing no signs of damage. Second one arrived in a heavily damaged package, so I had to refuse it. Third one came in a moderately damaged package, and since I was waiting for this guitar for about 2 months already, I accepted the package. Luckily, the guitar was fine, with just the carrying case showing signs of damage.

Thomann handled the situation in a reasonable manner.

Guitar have the looks, sound is great, but the sustain and playability is heavenly good. The feling under the fingers on the neck is something you have to try to understand. You will feel like a samurai with a ancient katana while playing this guitar crafted under the mountains in Japan :)

Elle vaut largement son prix ! D'abord, par son apparence, douce dans ces formes et au toucher. La ligne qui borde la caisse est très classe, le mécaniques sont somptueuses.
L'accordeur est très précis et facile à utiliser.
La prise en main est très confortable et rappelle le manche d'une électrique. Il est également très élégant. Donc, très adaptée au live.
Quant au son, il est brillant sans être criard et le substain est remarquable. La projection est très raisonnable. Je n'aime pas beaucoup les cordes d'addario qui l'équipent, je changerai avec des Martin.
J'ai hâte de l'essayer sur scène !
