2 playback heads - one with Tap Tempo controllable, one independently bypassbar
BASF C30 1/8 "chrome tape cartridge for a long life and easy replacement
Delay level control: individual volume of the two playback heads
Feedback control: separate for both playback heads until self-oscillation (externally controllable by expression pedal)
Delay Time Knob: Sets the delay time from 125 ms to 1.2 s, the delay time of the first playback head can be controlled by Tap Tempo and by an external expression pedal
Master Boost control: 0 - 20 dB Volume boost for the overall volume (located in front of the output)
Chorus knob: band pitch modulation of the delays
Saturation controller: drives the recording head into saturation (LED peak display)
LED on / off switch for: Tap, Chorus, Heads & Master On / Off - True Hardwire Bypass
Kill Dry - for parallel grinding path
Filter Switch - to attenuate the high frequencies of the delay signal
CV input and output - CV input accepts 0 - 5 V control signals for connecting an oscillator module and digital control of delay and feedback
2 inputs for expression pedals
Power supply via +/- 12V Eurorack standard power supply (not included)

Ottimo prodotto, suono caratteristico e utile la possibilità di controllo CV dei parametri feedback e time. Buona la dotazione di un nastro aggiuntivo di ricambio. Con quello che costa, però, potevano metterci anche le viti e il cavo piatto per il montaggio, che vanno acquistati a parte.

Non sarà un echorec o un roland vecchio di 50 anni, ma è L'UNICO vero delay analogico disponibile sul mercato.
Da imparare a usare nei suoi range e nella sua capacità di erosione del suono. Splendido, bisogna fare l'abitudine al rumore meccanico del motore.

A very special piece of gear...

I've wanted to buy an analog tape delay for a while and this one was: small enough, with good sound quality and excellent quality (very steardy materials, nice snappy switches, nice knobs).

First thing out of the box: it is beautiful. Great design (in my opnion), with enough features to shape your sounds with coarse and fine adjustment.

I was looking for a very vintage sounding module. If you are looking for a clear, bright and extremely reliable delay: don't go for this one. I was looking for something more experimental that would induce errors and trials (things that are part of my creative process).

It is a very good match for me, because of the particular use that I have of it. Good build quality, and steardy materials. It will not behave at all like a clear sounding delay, and I was looking for that. The distortion effect is really nice. I use it in an Arturia 3U Rack, with a Korg MS20 mini and a Arturia Minibrute.

I did 2 of these for stereo tape delay and it's delicious. It has lots and lots of character which is why you buy a real tape delay. It can get very gritty when saturated, its just wonderful. very solid build quality. Yes is makes mechanical noise but not as much as other tape delays I use. We're lucky T-Rex made these.
