String Tie. Makes string changing so easy and quick

I have played classical and flamenco guitar for many years and always fitted new strings the conventional method and tucked each string underneath the next one at the bridge. This always took me a very long time, up to half an hour and the problem was, if you broke just one string you would have to untie the others to remove it.
I had seen these String Ties advertised at Thomann and thought, what a waste of money.
Then, quite recently, I ordered a few things from Thomann and needed to spend about 5 euros extra to get my free shipping, so I ordered a set of these String Ties.
When it came to replacing my old strings, I decided to use these as a trial.
I was surprised how easy and quick they were to fit. Less than half my usual time. They also looked extremely neat and tidy and should I break a string it will be so much easier to change. I would recommend any classical guitarist to try them, professional or beginner.

I have changed all my classicals now to these tie blocks. More easy to change strings but above all, no scratches at the bridge anymore when changing strings.

These string ties have made my life a lot easier!
And apparently they somehow enhyance the sound of the guitar.
Totally recommend!
The black ones look better though...

Ugly and just worthless. Do not buy these. I didn’t need them but was curious. I will throw them away instead of giving them away to someone else that will never need them as well.
