Ottimo sostituto del Duraglit

Ho un trombone slaccato che ha bisogno di periodica lucidatura che una volta veniva effettuata con il Duraglit. Il prodotto si è dimostrato efficace e la protezione all'ossidazione è duratura (alcuni mesi) a tutto vantaggio del risparmio del prodotto. Non lascia residui nelle fessure come ad esempio il Sidol.
Non ho trovato nessuna controindicazione, al limite l'odore non proprio invitante, ma è in linea agli altri prodotti del genere. In ogni caso non permane a lungo sullo strumento pulito.

make sure you wear gloves because the metal cleaning solution is pretty strong, not sure about the method of application but if you wear gloves and wipe everything down properly after you shouldn't have any problems

Ich benutze Metarex, um die Bünde meiner Gitarren auf Hochglanz zu bringen, und bin hellauf begeistert.

Die Anwendung ist super einfach, man reißt ein kleines Stück ab, rollt es zu einer Kugel, und reibt es ein bis zwei Mal über den Bund. Danach nimmt man ein Baumwolltuch (oder ähnliches) und wischt es über den selben Bund, bis dieser glänzt.

Ich empfehle, einen Fretboard Guard dazu zu kaufen, da das Tuch eine Flüßigkeit abgibt, und diese das Holz ein bisschen matt erscheinen lässt. Wenn man das Griffbrett danach aber noch mit Lemon Oil oder einem ähnlichen Produkt behandelt, ist das, zumindest meiner Erfahrung nach, kein Problem!

Ich verwende Metarex auf insgesamt neun Instrumenten bei jedem Saitenwechsel und habe in elf Monaten vielleicht ein Sechstel des Tuches aufgebraucht. Definitive Kaufempfehlung!

bringt alte Instrumente wieder auf Hochglanz

ich habe ein altes Flügelhorn aus Messing erst mit Elsterglanz poliert, mit dem Ergebnis war ich nicht zufrieden, deshalb hab ich Metarex Polierwatte gekauft.
Man sollte nicht zuviel watte auf einmal nehmen, denn diese ist sehr ergiebig. Meine erste Testphase war ein ca 2¤ großes Stückchen, damit habe ich den kompletten Schallbecher innen und ausen aufgebracht so dass alles richtig schwarz war und danach mit einem trockenen tuch blank poliert. Das Ergebnis war hervorragend, so ein altes Ding und der Schallbecher glänzte wie neu. danach habe ich das ganze Instrument auseinander genommen und ebenso aufpoliert, jetzt sieht das Flügelhorn aus wie neu. Ziel also erreicht mit deutlich weniger Anstrenung.
