Pleasantly tuneful but a little expensive
Substantially rich in overtones as in the audio example provided by Thomann, this Sonor Soprano glockenspiel sounds really round and full, thanks to the wooden sounding board and the alloyed metal bars. Notwithstanding, I would have appreciated a less expensive price or, included for the same price, one lower extra-octave, in the alto range, so to enjoy more the playing experience.
Even so, this soprano glockenspiel is well tuned and has a warm sound, subtle but not too thin or tiny, and it sounds mellifluous, so that it is very pleasant to listen to. It is a Sonor musical instrument, indeed: one must acknowledge that.

Fantastic
This glockenspiel is very very good. It has beautiful sustain and can be play very loud or very soft. It is used by myself in a church with a choir and other musicians and can be heard clearly and perfectly over all the the other music crystal clear.
If you get this make sure to get the thomann glass tipped beaters, these make the instrument sound absolutely stunning and orchestra-like quality with the glass tipped beaters -the upper notes ring out beautifully true with those particular beaters.
Rubber beaters give a quiet soft tone, And wood tipped beaters give a clear bright tone.
The wood resonance chamber give the instrument a beautiful tone that another glockenspiel would not have. Beautiful sustain and tone.
Recommended.
