One of the best stuff out there to put into your bass drum. I would change the design a bit, so the end where it touches the heads would be slightly softer, so it would not put as much pressure on the heads. If you bury the beater, it might be a bit more stiff than you like, but still probably the best stuff out there.

Make sure you get the correct size. I did !
Adds enough muffling to the kick to give it a nice fat punch.
Cannot wait to use it live all mic'd up!
Highly recommend !

Endlich der richtige Sound

Ich habe verschiedene Methoden ausprobiert, um den Sound meiner Basedrum zu verbessern, gedämpfte Felle, Handtuch, Decke, Kopfkissen, Evans EQ Pad.

Entweder war die Dämpfung nicht stark genug, oder die Lautstärke wurde zu sehr reduziert. Mein Ziel einen knackigen, punchigen Sound mit durchsetzugsfähiger Lautstärke für Rock/Metal zu bekommen, habe ich erst mit diesem hübschen Schaumklotz erreicht.

Das Teil ist geringfügig länger als die Trommel und drückt daher gegen beide Felle. Eine Möglichkeit den Sound zu variieren hat man allerdings nicht mehr.

Jedem der einen stark gedämpften Sound haben will kann ich das Teil empfehlen. Sieht außerdem auch besser aus als ein altes Kissen und verrutscht auch nicht.
