Have tried a few pickups for classical guitar but Shadow SH1900 was one of the easiest to fit and sounds great.

Very simple design and easy to fit requiring no modification to guitar which is great.

Plugged in to a combo amp or direct in to the mixing desk it sounds great.

Shadow have a great reputation which helped influence the purchase, but the results speak for themselves.

As I don't play classical guitar that often the cost was a major consideration too, and this one came in nicely within the budget I had to spend.

If you are in the market for a new pickup the Shadow SH1900 if certainly one to consider. . .

Very Happy with this i use it on a classical when i need to use on stage and it works just fine ... great value ...

Ayant eu des electro-acoustiques nylon ''toutes faites'' sans jamais êtres satisfaites (ibanez, lag, etc), j'ai toujours reprocher d'avoir un son trop synthétique, trop ''plastique''. C'est en assistant à un concert de flamenco que j'ai été séduit par ce type de micro.

Le montage est très simple car ce micro s'adapte sur pas mal de classique. Toutefois, si à l'origine votre sillet chevalet est assez haut, ce qui était le cas d'un ami, il faudra prévoir une petite cale en dessous pour éviter les frisotis mais rien de bien complexe.

Attention au plastique des plots qui s'avèrent assez fragiles, j'ai eu une casse au bout d'un an. J'ai remplacé ces fameux plots par un sillet standard que j'ai retravaillé pour l'insérer dans le logement, niquel depuis.

Niveau électronique la prise mini-jack m'a aussi lâché donc j'ai viré le potard de volume et j'ai branché le micro en direct en sortie d'un pré-ampli que j'ai installé sur ma guitare. résultat excellent !

Pour conclure, malgré les défauts que j'ai pu avoir, je pense que je conseil cet achat car le son est vraiment excellent.

Habe mir den TA bestellt da ich keine Holzarbeiten an meiner guten Konzertgitarre ausführen wollte. Der Einbau ist auch sehr einfach (wenn der Steg passt) und optisch nicht so auffallend wie der Nanoflex mit Aussenelektronik.
Alle Saiten sind gleichmäßig laut aber vom Klang bin ich etwas enttäuscht. Dachte die Piezotechnik hätte sich in 20 Jahren weiter entwickelt. Hier wohl nicht.
Um einen einigermaßen brauchbaren Ton zu erhalten muss ich an meinen LR.Baggs Venue ganz schön an den Reglern rum schrauben.
Das Buchsengehäuse musste ich unterfüttern da es leicht gegen den Steg kam und total rasselte.
Für zu Hause mit Looper ist es ok, (dafür war er auch gedacht) wenn man auftreten will muss man wohl doch mehr Geld ausgeben und ein aufwendigeres System benutzen und einbauen lassen.
Das mitgelieferte Kabel 3,5 auf 6,3 mm ist absolut Schrott und gerade mit einem hochohmigen Piezo nicht nutzbar. Schlecht und zu lang. WIe man so was beilegen kann ist mir unverständlich.
Hier muss man sich am besten was löten da die ferigen 3,5mm Klinkenkabel meist für Kopfhöhrer usw. sind und deshalb zu schlecht abgeschirmt für Piezo.
Und länger als 2-3 Meter sollte es nicht sein.
Also als Notlösung OK - mehr nicht.
