La riposta di questo strumento è davvero unica.
Ottima fattura e ottimo legno rendono questo strumento davvero unico per il suo prezzo.
Ho potuto adoperarlo molto sia completamente in acustico (gestivo l'acustica degli spazi con del tessuto da mettere dentro la cassa di risonanza in caso di eccessivo riverbero della stanza) sia amplificato (solitamente microfono da tom alla bocca d'uscita e panoramico frontale). Suono sempre bilanciato e mai troppo "gonfio" sulle basse.
Davvero un ottimo strumento senza spendere follie!

Un cajon discreto

La struttura è solida e i materiali sono abbastanza buoni tuttavia il suono non è dei migliori: è piuttosto secco e non si distingue molto il suono simil-cassa da quello simil-rullante per esempio. Tuttavia per un musicista che vuole imparare o non vuole spendere molto è un ottimo strumento. Io lo uso col pedale come se fosse una grancassa durante i live acustici e mi trovo estremamente bene.

Snare sound is a bit poor

I was a bit disappointed with this purchase. As is with a lot of Cajons the snare sound is a bit poor. I chose this one based on reviews because the snare was supposed to be good but I just found their wasn't enough response and I get more wood sound than snare. The snare on this is made from a snare drum snare cut in half and mounted against the inside front of the box. There's no real adjustment to change the sound. The snare coverage could probably do with being bigger to enhance the sound and this is something you might be able to do yourself.
Often it takes a while to soften the Cajon up so that the snare becomes more responsive, but I haven't really found it with this one.
Bass sounds great from this instrument though and the box is definitely a solid build, I also bought a protection racket case to go with it which is very useful with the rucksack straps.

Great Fun, like a real drum kit!

I had this "Cahoon" as a surprise Christmas present and I love it! Such a great sound and variety of tones from this cajon. Very well made from the soft no scratch feet to the non-slip seat on top, well thought out design and German Engineering at its best. Seems to be improving as it plays in (as they said it would). I would be very happy to recommend this to a friend for both the sound and the construction quality. I hope my neighbours agree!
