Ottimo suono in stile contrabbasso

Ottime corde nel caso si voglia ottenere un suono più simile al contrabbasso e meno metallico come possono avere le round e a volte anche le flat.

Queste corde sono estremamente lisce e scorrono molto bene sulle dita. Lo spessore può sembrare enorme ma sono normali 45-105 avvolte da uno strato di nylon esterno, per cui la tensione non è così alta come si potrebbe immaginare.

Inevitabilmente bisogna regolare un po' lo strumento se si usano queste corde, e l'action tenderà ad essere sempre un po' alta, ma se cercate un suono e stile simile al contrabbasso allora questo non sarà un problema.

Uso queste corde su un Fender Precision e il suono che ne esce è davvero ottimo. Sconsigliate a chi predilige sonorità rock, metal con molta presenza di frequenze alte.

Ottime ma... su basso acustico

Bellissime corde nulla da dire... ma attenzione: su basso elettrico sconsigliate in quanto non va a massa il circuito essendo le corde rivestite! Per cui fate molta attenzione!!!! La corda vibra molto in ampiezza per cui le vedo indicate per un basso acustico ma non su un jazzbass... parlo per esperienza personale di liutaio

Rotosound Black Nylon strings

Very good product as all the set of strings that I always purchase with Rotosound.

I wanted to tried black strings on my bass and tried various types but was never happy with one.

This strings feels incredibly nice if you like flat wound strings.
The tone is very round and low and the look is obviously very cool.
I tried it on my Fender Jazz Bass but the strings were too thick and wouldn't fit the little holes at the top of the neck.
I then tried them on my acoustic bass and it sounded quite amazing, similar to a double bass, which is really was I was looking for.

What a sound!

I never tried taped strings on my J-Bass, that's like a revelation to me! the tone is amazing, sounding kinda like a double bass, you can still get some brightness in the sound, it's not completly muted in the trebles.
The biggest pros to this product is (IMHO) the feeling of the touch with your right hand is so sweeeeeet !
Even if the gauge seems big, the tension is like a drop D, really easy to play and soft.
I'm not gonna say that is the best strings for bass, but if you want to experiment, definetly try these ones one time! You'll be suprised!
