One of the best you could buy for pizzicato and slap tecnique
Anonimo 14.12.2015
I used to play steel strings in bow, pizzicato and slap tecnique...getting lots of blisters on my fingers
this kind of strings is perfect if you play pizzicato and slap a lot (despite of nylon strings, they have NOTE and SUSTAIN)
i suggest to leave the bow in its bag; with presto nylonwound strings you don't get a good "classic" sound
Very suitable for:
Early jazz
Swing
Country
r'n'r-rockabilly

P.Nyl.Strings have a mellow tone with strong sustain (despite only nylon strings)

Al di là delle mie aspettative
Daniele Tartaglia 21.01.2019

Perfect for the bassist who wants a gut-like string but needs to use a magnetic pickup
Magnatron 26.11.2015
Having switched from a piezo to a magnetic pickup for stage volume/feedback reasons, I needed to switch from synthetic strings to steel core. I don't particularly like the sound or fell of all steel G and A strings, so these steel core, nylon wrapped strings are a really good compromise.
They have the same feel & guage as synthetic strings, with almost the same sound, but they work really well with magnetic pickups.
Sound-wise, they're not as mellow as synthetic or gut strings, but it's as close as you'll get and still be able to use a magnetic pickup.
