Buono il materiale un pò meno la costruzione, sono di tre decimi più grandi della misura standard, per montarli ho dovuto allargare un pò le sedi della chitarra.

When looking for some new bridgepins I thought I better check back through previous orders to make sure I didn't buy the same awful ones again. At first I thought I had bought some cheap chinese ones off amazon,but I discovered I had bought these planet waves ones from thomann. They didn't fit without filing /sanding , none of the grooves for the strings (despite variations) went far enough to allow the pin to sit right down (you could manage on the thinner strings but not on the E or A). Very poor.

It looks nice, works nice and compliment my mahogany guitar just perfect.

I had ordered these pins to replace cheap plastic stuff which was on my guitar since I bought it.

It exceeded my expectations! Really nice look and vintage feel.

I had to file it a little bit to get perfect fit but since then I never had any hassle. Probably some people will find it embarrassing but I'm ok with that. It's just a nature of two wooden pieces - they cannot fit perfectly from beginning.

Highly recommended.

Für die Instandsetzung einer alten Gitarrenlaute brauchte ich neben den neuen Stöckchen auch einen Gurtknopf für den Korpus. In diesem Paket ist das alles drin, es ist sogar noch ein Reserveexemplar enthalten. Ausgezeichnet. Und alles passt.

Die Stöckchen sind aus sehr hartem Holz gemeisselt, also ohne Werkzeug nicht kaputtzubekommen. Die Verarbeitung ist tadellos. Es musste nichts nachgeschliffen werden. Der konische Verlauf misst im Durchmesser 4 mm unten bis 5 mm oben über eine Länge von 21 mm (ohne Kopf). Die "Stöckerl" halten Saiten mit "Ball-End" ebensogut wie Nylonsaiten mit ein paar seemännisch korrekt geflochtenen Knoten am Ende. Sie erfüllen also ihr Soll.

Im Vergleich zu Kunststoffnupsis entfalten die Hartholzbrüder zwar einen etwas originaleren Klang und etwas mehr Sustain, aber der Unterschied ist marginal. Holz sieht einfach besser aus. So.

Wer auf den großen Onkel zum Gurtdranmachen, auf "made in USA" und auf eine nahezu perfekte Verarbeitung verzichten kann, wäre mit den hartholzigen Hausmarke-Teilen zum halben Preis allerdings nicht viel schlechter beraten.
