It has one of the most stunning looks that ever graced a cymbal: it resembles the surface of a planet that suffered a heavy and prolonged meteorite bombardment; the only part that was preserved from the intensive and irregular hammering is the bell, which was left completely raw (and displays variegated oxidation patterns) and emits a powerful sound, completely different from the sounds you get from the bow and that is able to cut through the most dense sound a band can generate.

Habe dieses Becken als Nachfolger für mein 20" Meinl Raker Medium Ride ausprobiert, das ich schon gefühlte 1000 Jahre besitze. Allerdings kommt es klanglich nicht auch nur annähernd an dieses heran. Für meine Bandkollegen klang es fürchtlich und es hat sich richtig aufgeschwungen was ein wahnsinnig ewig langes Sustain zur Folge hatte. Dabei hatte ich mir von dem Ding richtig viel versprochen. Für manche mags ok sein, für mich war?s ein Reinfall. Das einzig positive: es sieht richtig gut aus. Das wars dann aber auch schon.
