No more water pots. No more fussing with knives and sandpaper.

I'll admit it doesn't sound quite as good as a really good wooden reed, but the sound quality of this is so close that for all but the most important performances, this is my go-to reed.

The sheer convenience of it is fantastic and the sound quality is much better than the plastic reeds of even just a year ago.

Even if you think you'll never play on a plastic, this is indispensable to have as a backup/spare reed.

Legere medium soft oboe reed

I used the legere clarinet european reeds , exclusively, I thought they were so good I just couldn't go back to cane.
I started playing the oboe quite recently and naturally had to try the reed , I decided to try out the medium soft and all I can say that this reed is just amazing in playability, intonation stability and sound, I must mention here that I will order the medium now as , I find the the medium soft a little too soft for me, but I believe as in my previous experience with the clarinet Legeres , I will play, almost exclusively, with these reeds, I call them a Miracle!!

Quel plaisir de ne pas stresser avant un trait, avant de faire des graves... pour des amateurs qui essayent de maintenir une pratique régulière, ont un peu perdu la main pour bien gratter les anches, et ont besoin d'une anche qui marche à peu près à tous les coups sans avoir à la retoucher, c'est révolutionnaire !

Für einen Monat sehr gut, lässt dann nach

Direkt nach dem Auspacken war ich sehr überrascht von der leichten Ansprache in allen Lagen (selbst tief B war direkt nach dem Auspacken kein Problem) und dem guten Klang. Leider ist es nach etwa einem Monat deutlich schwerer geworden, die Tiefe spricht nicht mehr gut an und die Ecken der Ansprache haben sich im Laufe der Zeit deutlich verbogen; damit ist die Öffnung ist nicht mehr optimal.
Nach der Nutzung habe ich das Rohr regelmäßig mit handwarmem Wasser ausgespült.
Für den doch sehr hohen Preis bin ich von der Haltbarkeit leider nicht überzeugt.
