Lakewood M-32 CP 44mm

The pleasant experience started right from the moment of unboxing. Despite the guitar looks flat in the online review videos but there's a lot more details when I got my hands on it. Absolutely stunning art of work with it's simplicity. The fragrance of the rosewood just pops from the moment I opened the case. In terms of the sound, if you play strumming most of the time, avoid it. If you play fingerstyle like I do, it's a no brainer. The clarity of each note is too high which might be the reason for the 'shattering' feel when you strum chords but it's definitely a good point for fingerstyle. Also just to compare with the other two Taylor's I got (Grand Auditorium and Grand Symphony) the volum of the M body from Lakewood is quieter. It's not a big deal if you're playing at home or using a amp. But if you're planning to perform acoustically only, don't expect the volum from the Dreadnoughts or GA bodies. Overall Lakewood makes awesome quality guitars that's very unique to those American strummers and some people may absolutely love it (like me), some people might not like it at all. La qualité de fabrication est excellente, la finition est très belle.
Le sillet de 44mm permet de jouer avec le pouce. Le manche est assez "gros" mais en même temps très confortable et facile à jouer. Côté son, c'est très équilibré, le son est boisé, la corde de la est puissante. Dommage que celle du mi grave le soit à peine moins, c'est mon seul regret. Comparée à une Taylor 814, le son est moins puissant mais plus équilibré avec des mediums qui font défaut à la Taylor.
