The Trinity Solo System is an alternative to (or complement for) the Trinity Pro System or the Quantum Blender and supplies power to the microphone. The Trinity Solo can not be operated as a separate system, and for this purpose, K&K recommends the use of their own preamplifiers.

IL microfono interno

Ho preso questo microfono abbinato al pickup Pure Mini e al pre Trinity Pro Preamp.
E' uno dei piu belli microfoni interni che ho provato, e ne ho provati tanti, ha un suono molto naturale, senza particolari enfasi di alcune frequenze, in ogni caso poi si può equalizzare col suo pre.

Nessun difetto, anche il prezzo è giusto, è facile da installare e si può fissare senza modificare la chitarra.

New capsules sound much worse than the old ones

I have Trinity Pro system in my first guitar. I wanted to upgrade from Pure Mini pickup to Trinity in my second guitar so that I can use both on stage. I bought the mic but it sounds much worse than the mic in my first guitar. I wrote to K&K and they replied that "We had to switch to a different mic capsule about 3 years ago because the ones we used before were no longer manufactured. I choose a model that we as similar in tone as possible, but it ended up with a little less high end".
For me, it lacks A LOT of high-end (~ 8dB or so) and the overall clarity I find in the old mic. This is a big disappointment since the high end was the reason I wanted the mic. I just can't simply switch between the two guitars on stage without additional/separate signal processing.

The best sounding acoustic pickup

I like the sound of the trinity very much. It is an extremely accurate reproduction of your acoustic guitar.

Excellent micro avec un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Les 2 micros achetés ici, chez Thomann, ont été installés, l'un sur une Martin D-18 de 1971, l'autre sur une Martin D-41 de 2006. Les 2 micros sont alimentés (9v) par un Blender Fishman. Dans les 2 cas le son des 2 guitares est vraiment très fidèlement reproduit. Très satisfait.
