Clear sound, durable

I use these chimes for my experimental project. Clear sound, can be loud too.
Over time it has endured violent shaking, hard hitting and other unspeakable acts, haha. I really wonder how the strings holding the bars aren't torn yet.
Overally, I'm really satisfied with my chimes as they are a really cool addition to my drum set.

Great quality chimes !

I purchased these Chimes along with the Dixon PA-CHM-SP Wind Chime clamp and I have to say they are fantastic. The sound cuts through pretty much anything, including playing drums in a loud pop/rock band and adds a very distinguishing quality of sound to your set up. Highly recommended!

Nach einem kurzen Spiel auf einem E-Drumset, dessen Drumcomputer einen Chimessound (unterster Soundqualität) hatte, wollte ich mir sofort so ein Teil kaufen.

Ich bin bei meiner Suche auf verschiedenste Modelle gestoßen von LP über Meinl bis zu Tycoon. Ich wollte einen schönen Klang, der einen nicht zum weinen bringt, wenn man an den Preis denkt.
Im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist dieses Teil absolut unschlagbar. Der Sound ist für den Preis echt in Ordnung. Die Verabeitung ist top und mit der dazu gehörigen (optionalen) Tasche von Meinl geht der Transport auch einfach.

Die Alustäbe haben einen gedämpfteren Klang als die Messingstäbe anderer Produzenten. Variationen aus verschiedenen Chimes sind aber auch möglich, je nach Genre.

Wenn man den Einsatz dieses doch recht speziellen Instrumentes üben möchte und auf einen leiseren Sound steht, ist das genau das richtige Instrument.

Es lohnt sich jedoch auch die Investition in teurere Exemplare. Ich für meinen Teil bin jedenfalls sehr zufrieden mit diesem Ding und kann es nur empfehlen.
