Perfetto per Epiphone Les Paul Standard

Calza perfettamente con i fori sul top della mia Epiphone Les Paul Standard, pickup al manico. Sono in plastica con fondo curvo per chitarre con top "arched", quindi tipo Les Paul (non vanno bene ad esempio per le SG, per le quali serve la cornice con fondo piatto).

Edit. A distanza di circa 1 anno e mezzo la cornice del pickup al manico (quella più sottile) è crepata al centro del tratto lungo. Non ho fatto ulteriori modifiche alla chitarra ne ho smontato la cornice in questo lasso di tempo. Ne deduco che è di qualità non eccelsa. La sostituirò con cornici in metallo che costano di più ma di certo non si rompono.

Very good. But be careful

I bought this for a self build kit that came with cream fittings.
I wanted black instead so purchased these as extras.
Oh what fun. These are a direct replacement for a humbucker pickup and they are very good and a perfect fit but take care. Do what I did and contact thomann first. You will need this one and another one to get a matching pair. Both parts are a very different height and profile. You need to make sure you ask for the 2 different part numbers like I did and all will be well. Just a quick note on fitting. What ever you do make sure you take a picture of your original set up first. Figuring out which way round they go afterwards will be almost impossible.

These frames have very good quality. I wanted to replace my frames that were cream colored and bought these. I find it having better quality than the stock ones that came with the guitar. Just be sure you buy a matching pair, as i bought two neck frames instead of a neck and bridge one. Also take in considerarion the size of your humbucker cavity and you will be good to go.

Won't fit on Les Paul

The frame doesn't fit on my Epiphone Les Paul Standard. It's just not enough plastic and with archtop guitars you have to sand the frame so it fits to the curvature of the guitar, but this one is far to thin.
