As good as the reviews said it would be........

With the need for a new 2x10 as part of a modular Glockenklang rig that can be scaled down or up depending on the type of gig / size of venue, I went for the Glock DUO purely based on excellent reviews everywhere, forums, shops the lot! Having been playing for 20yrs and regularly out playing in either a Jazz / Blues or Rock band predominantly, I wanted to finally own THE RIG, the cabinet to end all cabinet purchasing. I have found it. Detailed reproduction of the sound of the guitar, articulate, dynamic to the touch and loud. What more could you want?

If you don't own it, you'll be looking for the sound until you buy one!

Hatte mir zwei Boxen zum direkten Vergleich bestellt: Die Glockenklang DUO und GR Bass AT210. Sehr verlockend ist das geringe Gewicht bei er GR AT210. Man kann sie problemlos mit einer Hand tragen. Zudem sieht sie sehr wertig und edel aus. Die Glockenklang ist da schon eine andere Gewichtsklasse. Aber vielleicht ist das Gewicht, das schwere Holz genau das, was eine Box braucht?
Im direkten Klangvergleich hat mir aber die (deutlich günstigere) Box von Glockenklang besser gefallen. Sie bringt eine Tiefe und Transparenz in den Sound, wie es GR nicht schafft. Hier ist es wohl dem geringen Gewicht geschuldet, dass die Macht des Klangbildes etwas auf der Strecke bleibt. Ich werde auf alle Fälle bei Glockenklang bleiben.

Tout est dit dans les évaluations.
Qualité de fabrication irréprochable. Son exceptionnellement précis, sans coloration de l'enceinte. Grave bien présent (c'est une enceinte bass reflex, donc ce n'est pas surprenant). Le rendement est très bon et les watts de l'amplification sont parfaitement exploités. On note un superbe équilibre entre le tweeter et les 2x10, exempt de dureté.
Un achat qu'on ne peut pas regretter.
J'ajouterai que le revêtement respire la solidité, même si l'on peut regretter l'absence d'une housse de protection qui n'est disponible que sur mesures en recherchant sur le net.
Le seul petit bémol reste le poids. Bien évidemment c'est transportable quand même grâce aux deux grandes poignées latérales. Une version light, avec des HP au neodymium est disponible; c'est une question de goût et de budget.

Utilizo este speaker para bajo eléctrico (junto a otro altavoz de 2X15) y para contrabajo con el Coda de Acoustic Image, hay que decir que estoy muy satisfecho en ambas configuraciones.

Reproduce con gran fidelidad lo ejecutado, sin colorear ni tampoco "arreglar" los fallos.
