GHS Bass Boomers 65-130 Medium

I've been playing Everly Strings for some years know, and since I've play in a BEAD tuning, I've always had to buy a 5 string set and dump the one string. What a waste!
So I was extremely pleased when I came across GHS' Bass Boomers 65-130 Medium, and found that they were perfect for my needs and at an even lower cost the usual. A really great start, though a bit skeptical due to the low cost.
The strings sounds and feels really good. I play with my fingers, not a pick, and it feels like my right hand is faster when playing, but my left hand needs to get used to the feel of the string. But nothing critical.
I've had the strings on for some weeks now and they are still pretty crisp and fresh sounding, which is a big plus! Also I've noticed that it seems like they are bringing out more of my bass' characteristics.
All in all, I am super pleased and happy about finding the GHS strings! The only bad thing I can say, is that I would have loved if they had decided to put the strings in sealed bag.

Toco el bajo en un grupo de Metal, al principio usábamos Drop C, con D'Addario 50-120 (que recomiendo también para esa afinación). Luego pasamos a afinación en B y claro, si tu bajo tiene 4 cuerdas, inevitablemente puedes pensar en comprar un pack de 5 y descartar la aguda...

Pero yo pienso que es mucho mejor hacerse con este juego, está especialmente diseñado para tener las 4 cuerdas en BEAD (es decir, la afinación de las 4 graves del bajo de 5). Lo que se consigue con estas cuerdas es sonar como un bajo de 5 sin perder las características físicas, comodidad y ejecución de uno de 4. La tensión es la adecuada (uso un Ibanez SR con escala de 34''), el sonido me gusta y la durabilidad también es bastante buena.

Ahora me estoy planteando si empezar a tocar con uno de 5, pero mientras tanto estas cuerdas son innegociables para mí. Altamente recomendadas si lo que se pretende es justamente poner un bajo de 4 cuerdas en la afinación BEAD. Gracias a GHS por crear esto y gracias a Thomann por ofrecerlas.
