- Other than the instrument itself, it is the ligature and the reed that have the greatest influence on the sound and response of the instrument.
- Each ligature is adapted to the particular type of mouthpiece and guarantees optimum fit of the reed.
- Due to the ingenious mechanism (left / right thread of the spindle), a symmetrical pulling force is applied to the reed during tensioning, so that this remains in the set position.
- A printed cross-hair on the belt facilitates the setting up of the reed.
