Fender Landau Hot Rod Deville

Cercavo un ampli Fender con 2 coni da 12’’ di dimensioni contenute. Mi ero orientato sul HR Deville IV, quando ho scoperto dell’esistenza di questo modello: due canali puliti con volumi differenti sono perfetti, non avrei utilizzato in alcun modo il drive dell’ampli presente sul modello base. Suono Fender, ricco, profondo, spazioso; unica pecca la gestione dei volumi, che a livelli bassi è poco precisa, ma si riesce a trovare comunque un livello utilizzabile anche in casa. Pienamente soddisfatto.

dopo averlo provato per bene posso dire che sono veramente felice di averlo acquistato,il pulito di questo 2x12 e' davvero eccezionale,corposo soprattutto sui medi e con la mia stratocaster americana va davvero alla grande;il volume dentro casa e' davvero spaventoso,esagerato ma ha una soglia di clean davvero alta almeno con i singole coil; l'idea di lasciare solo un canale secondo me e' davvero azzeccata per chi poi vuole divertirsi con i pedali (che accetta senza alcun problema)! lo consiglio a chi cerca il classico pulito fender e non ha problemi di volume in casa

I liked what I read about non-master amps, and I bought this one on speculation. I am overall very satisfied with the amp.

Beautiful open unrestrained sound quality. Just the right amount of grit in the tone. It takes pedals very well, and this means that I can run dist pedals in front of reverb, delay and modulation with very good result. I don't need to run the time machines in loop. Best result is with single coil pickups where the tonal quality really comes out, and you need to work the guitar volume to find the right amount of distortion.

Nice size and weight. Looks good.

My only issue is that the channel switching didn't work from the start. Channel select and boost select have only worked for a couple of minutes from foot switch or control panel. It is being fixed, and the overall quality is so good that I can forgive Fender for this.

All in all, I recommend this amp for anyone wanting to have an open sounding masterless combo. I am thinking of buying another to run stereo.

Da ich auch schon jahrelang auf anderen Amps bevorzugt nur den Cleanchannel mit Pedalen benutze, griff ich beim DeVille ML ohne langes Überlegen zu. Es klingt halt immer nach demselben Verstärker - auf einen Drivechannel kann ich verzichten! Ich benutze hochwertige Pedale, welche dieser Amp wirklich wunderbar verträgt!! Die Idee mit den zwei seperaten Lautstärken ist schlichtweg genial.

Nach dem freudigen Auspacken sah ich, dass die Verarbeitung nichts zu wünschen übrig läßt - ein Bravo an Fender! Sehr einfach und übersichtlich in der Bedienung, die Gitarre angeschlossen und schon ab VOL. 2 -3 geht schon richtig die Post ab! Mann, ist dat laut :)) Kein Problem also für riesige Bühnen - dagegen wird mein Peavey Classic 30 (geiles Teil fürs Proben und kleinere Gigs) wie ein Kofferradio als Monitoring im Freien klingen ;)

Der Klang: Richtig bauchig und voluminös, damit kann man richtig fett cleanen Blues spielen, aber sogar meine Overdrive- und Distortionpedale kommen Hammer und kraftvoll rüber! Als ich meinen Chorus von Digitech ausprobiert habe, war es einfach nur Sahne!! Der Reverb rundet das ganze sehr gefühlvoll ab, da hätte ich trotzdem gerne noch die möglichkeit ihn übers mitgeliefertes Pedal auszuschalten aber na ja... Ein Schritt zum Verstärker und schnell ist er abgedreht! Ist für mich kein Problem!

Ich freue mich schon auf heisse Proben und auf noch heissere Gigs - die ca. 30 kg werde ich wohl gerne buckeln ;))
