Tolle Strat

Ich bin weder ein Hardrocker noch ein die hard EJ Fan. Dennoch hat die Klampfe mir besonders zugesagt. Ich spiele meistens Les Pauls, wollte aber auch eine gute Strat in der Sammlung haben. Die gesamte Verarbeitung ist tadellos und wirkt in jedem Detail hochwertig. Der mitgelieferte Koffer ist auch schön und stabil.

Die Lackierung ist dünn und tadellos ausgeführt. Die Gitarre ist extrem leicht, was am verwendeten Tonholz liegt, aber trotzdem gut balanciert.

Ich mag einfach den Fender Radius nicht und diese hier hat einen 12 er Radius, wie eine Les Paul.

Der Hals ist angenehm fett (allerdings nicht mehr als bei historic Gibsons, eher einen Tick weniger) und liegt gut in der Hand. Die Bespielbarkeit ist erstklassig, die etwas fetteren Bünde tun ihr übriges.

Das Tremolo hat keine Abdeckung und fünf starke Federn. Das macht das Ding stimmstabil, aber fast unmöglich zu benutzen. Stört mich nicht.

Der Sound ist umwerfend. Alle fünf Sounds aus den custom EJ Tonabnehmern sind Strat pur. Bässe sind knackig, Höhen schillernd, nie schrill. Die Klampfe klingt clean wie verzerrt göttlich. Nebengeräusche halten sich im Rahmen. Besser kann eine Strat nicht klingen finde ich. Der erste Auftritt ist mit Bravour absolviert.

Grande Strat

Très belle guitare, tant dans la finition (parfaite au niveau lutherie et vernis), que le poids (très légère) et le son, très défini, aérien. Manche au radius de 12 au final très agréable. Seul petit défaut : le bras du vibrato avec un angle trop prononcé (obligé de le redresser) et qui bouge un peu une fois vissé (sur une guitare de ce niveau c'est un peu dommage).
