Avevo acquistato in precedenza questo case e ne ero rimasto soddisfatto; era ben costruito, non traballante, con un jack di alimentazione solido e un trasformatore silenzioso. Quest'ultimo acquistato invece è l'opposto: jack di alimentazione che tende ad uscire al minimo sforzo ed un trasformatore rumoroso. Insoddisfatto

Ottimo case. Pensavo arrivasse in kit di montaggio e invece è già assemblato e i legni sono incollati e fresati quindi non è possibile smontarlo per verniciarne le parti separatamente. Va quindi eventualmente verniciato nella sua interezza. Essendo in legno grezzo e senza finiture permette comunque estese modifiche quali coperchio, maniglia, verniciatura e fissaggio di elementi opzionali al suo interno. La scheda di distribuzione è aggiornata all'ultima versione ovvero comprensiva di connettori con dente per l'inserimento dei cavi di alimentazione dei moduli senza rischio di invertire la polarità.

I have now bought my second A-100LC3 case, as my first one is already full. These are good value cases that will take 84HP of modules, with 14 power busses available. They are unfinished wood, but I found a few coats of furniture wax was all I needed to enhance the appearance. The power socket for the external supply is on the left hand side of the case. This is great because it means I can have the case set against a wall, and taking up less space. I gave the cases's 'sound' 5 stars, because my modules never experience mains hum or other noise when installed in these cases. There is even enough room for my spring reverb tank.

The best value with no compromise

The build quality is excellent and the price is great. It's designed to be painted so you can let your creativity flow, I used some teak varnish and some wood polish, now it looks like a vintage case from the 60's but you can easily paint it black or leave it as it is.

My only complaint is that the power comes from outside the right side of the unit, so you can't have multiple next to each others, I wish the power would come out from behind so you can stack them up/down/left/right
