New favorite.

Just used for recording a full lenght metal album in a professional studio. I used this stings on Spector Euro6 LX. The sound is very nice round sound. No extreme highs, lows or mids, it sounded just perfect. After two very busy days it still sounds pretty great, however the low B started to wear (what is not a surprise in a metal band...). Using a 6 string is not a good news to bassmans if it's about sortiment. Compared to Warwick Black Label, Daddario EXL, EPS, or Ernie Ball this NYXL series is highly the best choice. For luck, I bought 2 sets so I don't have to worry if I have to change strings. The only bad is that it has no tapered ball end and my bridge is too small.

Excellent Tone and Feel

I put these strings on a Harley Benton 6 string bass. The strings have excellent "feel" and a very balanced tone. Based on previous experience, I would expect that they will last a reasonable time.

Der ewige Klang

Diese Saiten halten ihren Sound einfach ewig! Da ich nur einen eher mittelmäßigen 6-Saiter besitze, will ich auf diesem Bass nicht so oft Saiten wechseln, deswegen hab ich gedacht, ich nimm einmal etwas bessere, langlebigere Saiten, dann hab ich meine Ruhe damit.

Und das stimmt auch! Ich hab die Saiten vor 9 Monaten aufgezogen und sie klingen noch immer großartig! Ohne großer Pflege oder so, der Bass steht immer im Proberaum rum. Auch die Stimmung halten sie sehr gut!

Man muss sagen: der erste ganz frische Klang gefällt mir bei anderen Saiten besser, jedoch verlieren die meistens nach 2 Tagen schon die schöne Brillanz. Die NYXL klingen von Beginn an etwas "dunkler" aber nie schlecht. Dafür bleibt der Klang dann auch so. Ich bin begeistert! Vielleicht bekommt der Bass nach einem Jahr dann wieder neue Saiten ;)

L'équilibre parfait - The perfect balance.

Le jeu est facile à monter, sans mauvaises surprises
L'âme est rigide mais le bend est étonnamment souple, très facile à jouer.
La matière est lisse, elle n'accroche pas le doigt
Le son est parfait, aigues brillantes (slap, harpège, tapping) et les basses profondes bien solide, le sustain est très long !
C'est la première fois que j'essaie des NYXL, et je ne regrette pas mon choix !
This set is easy to mount, no nasty surprises
The core is quite rigid, but the bend is surprisingly flexible, easy way to play :)
The surface is smooth, doesn't grip your finger, nice sliding
The sound is perfect! bright high, highly clear slapping, arpeggio and tapping and the bottom bass is huge and strong, with an extra long sustain :)
This was my first NYXL set ever and I definitively don't regret this choice !
