These midi pedals are built like a tank, respond instantly and are so much fun. I researched for more than a year to find something more affordable and available than Moog Taurus pedals. I waited 4 months for Italy to supply these again as they were not available anywhere. Thanks to staff at Thomann for keeping me informed when they arrived back in stock.
These are for guitar players who like to hold notes while soloing or practicing scales. They are basically a foot midi keyboard/piano. Connect them to any computer or tablet that runs virtual synthesiser instruments and choose a sound. I'm also going to use them to trigger channel muting within a DAW mixer. I'm sure it can be done as they will be recognised by the DAW in the same way a midi keyboard is. Way more functionality than bass pedals for a synthesiser or organ. I have been following Thomann since the 1980s when they used to post out their large folded paper brochure catalogue. Prices are always the best or extremely close and delivery is great.

Very sturdy and well built!

So glad I bought this! I started using it with my Mojo 61, with lower manual and that works very well, but it also connects very easily to other midi synths and vst instruments. My favourite is to use it as a bass synth, which really makes the room shake! A truly lovely piece of kit. Highly recommended! Thanks, Crumar!

Mit einer Oktave Umfang ist man zwar etwas beschränkt, aber dafür ist das Pedal in allen Dimensionen sehr kompakt.
Die Pedale lassen sich angenehm bespielen und machen keine lästigen Geräusche. Das Gehäuse ist aus Metall und hält daher wohkl einiges aus.
Die Funktionstaster oberhalb der Pedale könnten etwas besser reagieren aber mit etwas Übung erwischt man auch diese sicher und das Umschalten (zB als Oktavschalter) sollte kein Problem sein.
Seitlich befindet sich ein Anschluss für ein Expression Pedal. Diesen habe ich noch nicht verwendet.
Sowohl über den 5-Pol Midi als auch den USB Anschluss werden Midi-Daten gesendet. Der USB Anschluss ist gleichzeitig der Anschluss für die nötige Stromversorgung. Geräte die ein Midi-device hosten können, können das Pedal also mit Strom versorgen und darüber gleichzeitig Midi-Daten empfangen. Es ist zB mit einem Akai MPC One also nur eine USB Kabelverbindung nötig. Bei Verwendung der 5-Pol-Midi Verbindung muss das Pedal zusätzlich über den USB-Anschluss mit Strom versorgt werden. Ein USB-Kabel liegt bei. Ein weiters hierfür nötiger Stromstecker leider nicht.
Eine passende Tasche gibt es für das Pedal leider (noch?) nicht.

Fazit: Super zu bespielen, günstig, kompakte Maße und robust gebaut. Deshalb sehr empfehlenswert!

Cherchant un pédalier pour simulations Taurus, celui-ci fait parfaitement le taf ! Simple d'utilisation, solide, bien ancré au sol, touché nickel ! L'USB est parfait, très pratique !
