Can get some great sounds out of it!
There's no lag/doesn't feel disjointed but doesn't feel like a tube amp either.
If you don't like the built in amps though you can always get a preamp of some sort (soldano, anything with tubes, etc).

I was never happy with the sound I was getting from my amp, so I started researching alternatives. In the end, I landed on the IR-200. And all I can say is, it was SO much better than I ever imagined. I will never go back to a single amp/cabinet combo again. It motivated me to play more and I’ve improved my playing significantly, simply because I love playing when it sounds so great.
