Excellent Bari Sax Case

I bought this case as a replacement for the one which came with my bari. The BAM case is both sturdy and portable. In terms of carrying it, the handles are comfortable and sensibly placed, there are securely fastened backpack straps, and the case also has wheels. Inside, the case can hold either low Bb or low A models, there are separate compartments for crook and mouthpiece, plus space for other accessories (reeds/harness etc.). All in all an excellent case.

Perfect fit for my MarkVI A!

Having damaged my bari by it falling over from its playing stand, I was advised by repairman to get a new case as the vintage one was not protective enough. I worried about the sizing, as I have a low A instrument. No need to worry, it is beautifully cushioned and protected now. The case is gorgeous and much commented on by other musicians too.

Great protection and lightweight

These aren’t cheap but great quality. The back pack straps are useful. I don’t use the wheels. Given the cost and size of the instrument good protection but minimal weight and easy transportation are worth the investment.

ein case der seinen stolzen preis wert ist

nachdem ich circa 3 monate auf dieses alles andere als günstige case warten musste, waren meine erwartungen natürlich hoch, aber ich muss sagen, dass er diese im vollen umfang erfüllt.

ich spiele ein altes selmer mark VI bis tief Bb, also fielen bei der auswahl eines vernünftigen koffers einige möglichkeiten aus. ein weiteres kriterium war für mich die möglichkeit den koffer als rucksack transportieren zu können. mit dieser kombination aus sicherheit durch ein hardcase, flexibilität durch die beiliegenden, robusten rucksackriemen und passgenauigkeit (bam baut seine koffer nach den maßen von selmer saxophonen) hat mich dieser koffer überzeugt. er hat bereits mehrere busreisen, tägliche bahnfahrten und eine auslandstournee quasi ohne kratzer überstanden

einziges manko sind die verschlüsse der karabinerhaken an der rucksackgarnitur. die karabiner lassen sich mit einer schraube fest verschließen, was eigentlich sehr positiv ist (so kann sich der karabiner nicht so leicht wieder lösen...) diese schrauben sind von außen aber geriffelt, für besseren hatlt, zerkratzen dadurch beim tragen allerdings ziemlich stark den koffer. mit ein bisschen tesafilm drumherum lässt sich das problem allerdings schnell und problemlos lösen...

alles in allem ein case der seinen stolzen preis wert ist, vor allem wenn man, wie ich, viel unterwegs ist und dass nicht immer im eigenen auto.
