The Original Sound Neve with Modern Studio Features

The Neve 1073 SPX is a studio essential. Its classic 1073 design, Marinair transformers and versatile features deliver unparalleled sound quality and flexibility. I am using it not only as mic preamp, but also as instrument DI or mixing preliminary eq, especially the low cut and its superb high shelf filter, which adds air and high end gloss to the mix. A must-have for any modern studio setup, thanks to Thomann for providing such a stellar product with impeccable service!

Solid piece of gear!

First time open it, just knew how solid it is. Very sturdy chasis, will survive the earthquake. And the sound quality has blown me away. The EQ quite aggressive but I love it, very sensitive and on point.

The preamp itself is magic, I put almost all mono instrument and vocal to it. I am a plugin user of 1073 before and when I can afford this one, it is second to none.

The hardware version is simply magic

Neve 1073 is it's own special thing, and paired with the right mic it's a dream. Even more so with the EQ. It's everything you would expect from this legendary preamp. Loving the metering options and all the bells and whistles the SPX has. DI also sounds great!
