Flexible Light for Small Gigs

The ADJ Mega HEX Par is what I consider to be the bigger brother to the ADJ Mega Tri Par. The design between the two Flat Pars our the same which does lead to some confusion, if you own both products like I do. you will see them around quite a big, for instance, I've spotted them in circus tents and small theatres as being part of the main light rig and also in bars, clubs and ice rings (it does have to be noted they are not outdoor rated).
The Mega Hex Par, I find like many others I know has an incredibly good balance between price, performance and flexibility in the roles it can perform in roles such as uplighting, audience blinders, main lights and fillers, while at the same time being able to be to compete with the main lighting fixtures a hundred pounds more expensive, giving it the ability to be used as the part of the main lighting rig. it does have to be noted that these lights are designed to have a short throw distance and would not function well in a large theatre as part of the main rig but would instead function well in filler the areas missed by the main rig in the larger theatres.

Can't get better at the price point

For the price these are at, you can't get much better without losing quality. The light output is amazing; I use 12 of them as side lights for a 9x9 meter stage and they have no issue covering the whole stage. Colour mixing is pretty good for the type of fixture, it could be better but for the price it's great. And their quality is fantastic, I've had some of over 3 years and had no issues with them, one even accidentally got dropped off a 2 meter scaffold tower and it survived with no damage! I can't recommend these enough for anyone starting out in lighting, incredibly versatile!
